Family Support Liason

Hello my John Fuller School Community!

I am David Olson and I’m very excited to be part of the John Fuller community!  I have been a special educator at Fuller for 16 years and I am now proud to be your Family Support Liaison for the last 4.  The purpose of my role is to ensure academic success for all students by supporting families in overcoming any barrier that impedes on learning and/or achievement.  I see myself as an educator who is trustworthy, open minded, non-judgemental, a good listener, driven and compassionate about children as young learners. I am also the dad of my three children, a ski coach at Cranmore, and head coach of the girls varsity lacrosse team at Fryeburg Academy. I enjoy boating, campfires, skiing, woodworking and being outside.

I will be in the building supporting students and teachers ensuring that all our students are safe, responsible and respectful.  I will be a bridge between home and school that keeps open communication flowing.  I will be in the community meeting with agencies and finding resources that can be used in overcoming barriers for our families.  I will be anywhere that makes sense for me to be in order to make students safe, healthy and academic.

I can be reached by calling the school or sending an email to d_olson@sau9.org.  Please feel free to contact me regarding any issue that may be a barrier to student learning.

As our traditional saying goes “You can’t hide that falcon pride” and I am very proud to be part of this great community!

All the best!
